My favourite car brand of the moment is easily Volvo. I didn't realise just how cool it was until one drove past me the other day. Volvo is very now if you think about it. It's functional, it's design/engineering focused, it's got swedish roots and it's safe. The only bit that might rock the boat is that it may not immediately be considered as a green car (some might say who cares, that's its positioning!) but I care. That thought got me doing a bit of research and found this lovely car C30. Check out its minisite, it totally exceded all expectations. It's aesthetically very pleasing...particularly it's bottom.
On average it does 40mpg. It's as good as any other urban motor. In fact, I think it's rather sexy?

exactly ed. that's why i'm planning on the V50. bit more room for da family but still good looks, scandanavian minimalism and sportish feel (going for the sports model of course to offset the familyness into something more balanced and appealing. BTW Volvo exceeds most manufacturers on producing engines with a better environemnt in mind

+1 on it being sexy! So you were able to see one of these beauts on the road? Lucky you. Did you have the sudden urge to drive one for yourself? I would if a car like that passed me by.

Oozingly sexy! That is what Volvo cars are all about. You won't have hard time getting everyone's attention with these stylish cars. These don't come cheaply, though.
