Haven't gotten any new shoes lately so I went out last night to buy shoes. I'm proud to announce that I'm a happy owner of these lovely Nike Soakers:
So why am I so happy about them? Well, cos these are my first eco-trainers. Actually, this is not entirely true, cos my previous MowabbII were also Nike Considered ones (but I wasn't aware of that at the time of purchase - I just liked the robotic aesthethics of them). These new ones look a bit like Cons/Tretorn.
Another reason why I like these soakers is because they are rather clever. They have holes on the side of the soles to pass out water. Not exactly stuff for water sports but good for urban puddles of which there are many in London. And the top mesh is made from recycled materials.
I also couldn't help myself buy couple of prints from Scrawl Collectives @ Nike Town. They're being delivered later this week. Sweet.
